Family Game Night

Family Game Night

The Early Learning Center buzzed with excitement on Thursday evening as families gathered for Family Game Night, an event designed to bring families and friends together through play, laughter, and learning. From newborns to grandparents, everyone joined in the fun through a variety of engaging games.

The gymnasium was transformed into a colorful playground of activity stations, each offering a different game that encouraged teamwork, problem-solving, literacy and math skills, and most importantly, fun! Families took turns at Fundations Bingo, Topple, Card Parade, Dice Yoga and a Player’s Choice table.

One of the most popular spots of the evening was the "Dice Yoga" game, where children and adults alike took turns rolling the dice, holding the designated yoga pose while practicing balance and having fun while counting! Giggles filled the room as everyone tried to hold their poses, often tumbling on their mats!

"Game night was fun!  The kiddos loved everything, but especially the big dice and yoga and the sweet gift bags!  You guys are awesome!"

-Gina, mom of 2 ELC students

Beyond the games, the night provided an opportunity for families to connect—not only with one another but also with the teachers and staff who help guide their children’s early learning journey. Parents had the chance to see firsthand how play is a crucial part of their child's development, reinforcing social, cognitive, and motor skills in a fun and engaging way.

As the evening wrapped up, families left with smiles, a goody bag with dice, a deck of cards and a few games to play at home, and also a newfound appreciation for the joy of learning through play. Family Game Night was not just about the games—it was about strengthening bonds, celebrating community, and creating special moments that children will cherish for years to come.

"We had so much fun at Game Night, thanks again for giving us so many opportunities to do fun things with our kiddos and be a part of their school! The girls could not wait one second after getting in the house to open their goodie bags and start playing!"

-Amy, mom of a 4 and 2 year old

With the success of this event, the Early Learning Center looks forward to hosting more opportunities that bring families together through shared experiences. Until next time—let the games continue at home!
