Our Classrooms

Our Inclusive Blended Classroom Model is designed to provide a nurturing and supportive learning environment for all students. Each classroom will be led by a certified teacher who holds dual licensing in Special Education and General Education, as well as holding certification in teaching English as a Second Language. This ensures that every child receives the individualized attention and instruction they need to thrive.

To provide additional support, our classrooms will be staffed with two teaching assistants and a team of related service providers. This team may include a speech-language pathologist, social worker, occupational therapist and physical therapist, depending on the needs of the student population.

Our classrooms will serve a small group of 16 students, ranging in age from 3 to 4 years old. This intimate setting allows us to create a personalized learning experience for each child. We warmly welcome students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and our expert staff is equipped to support the unique needs of these students. In fact, up to six students in each class may have an IEP.

At the D123 Early Learning Center, we believe that every child deserves a high-quality early education, regardless of their abilities or needs. Our Inclusive Blended Classroom Model is built on the principles of inclusion, compassion, and academic excellence. We are committed to helping every student grow, learn, and succeed in a nurturing and supportive community.

The Preschool for All (PFA) program is a state-funded initiative designed to provide access to preschool education for 3, 4, and 5-year-old children who are not yet eligible for kindergarten. This program plays a critical role in ensuring that all young children, regardless of age, have the opportunity to benefit from early childhood education. PFA in D123 offers half-day options to accommodate the diverse needs of families, making high-quality preschool more accessible than ever.

The Preschool For All Expansion (PFA-E) program offers full-day preschool for 4-year-old students, with a focus on providing comprehensive services to those with the greatest needs. We utilize an individualized, weighted criteria system to both enroll and prioritize children who require the most support, ensuring they receive the services they need.

Session Time: 8:40-3:00

The Transitional Bilingual Education (TBE) program offers students of the same home language the opportunity to learn English language skills, while continuing to learn academic content in their home language.  Students are identified to participate in this program through the home language survey and have been identified with limited English proficiency based on the prescribed screening tools.
