As we prepare to welcome the new year, let’s take a moment to reminisce about the wonderful memories we created during December at the Early Learning Center. It was a month filled with joy, laughter, and festive spirit, as we celebrated together in style!
Dressing in Our Classroom Colors
We kicked off the festivities by dressing in our classroom colors, turning the hallways into a vibrant rainbow of hues. Each class proudly showcased their unique color, fostering a sense of unity and belonging.
Hat & Crazy Hair Day
Creativity reached new heights during Hat Day! The children showcased a variety of funny, festive, and fabulous hats. From Santa hats to colored locks, each headpiece added a touch of whimsy to our daily routines.
Pancake in Pajamas and Guest Readers
Nothing says cozy like pajamas and relaxing with a pancake treat! December wouldn’t have been complete without our Guest Readers. Dr. Enderle and Ms. Sophie from the Oak Lawn Public Library joined us to share their favorite stories. The children were captivated, hanging on every word, and these moments of shared reading created bonds that will be cherished forever.
As we look back on these joyful moments, we are reminded of the importance of community, creativity, and celebration in our learning journey. Here’s to carrying the warmth and joy of December into the new year, creating more unforgettable memories together at the ELC!
Here's to a fantastic year ahead!
