The ELC has started a monthly tradition called Roary’s Roar of Recognition to celebrate dedication and teamwork, where kind words and thank you notes are anonymously written by fellow staff members to each other, collected and presented at the month’s end.
This month, paraprofessional Alyssa Lozano, was presented with the mightiest Roar of Recognition, as students and staff lined the hallways and cheered for her, much to her surprise! Her coworkers, who also refer to her as a friend, describe her as creative, nurturing, eager, supportive, dedicated, positive, always willing to go above and beyond, and the list goes on.
