Congratulations to District 123 Art Teacher, Michelle Melendez who’s writing was recently published in School Arts Magazine. In the May issue, Melendez wrote a piece for the Elementary art section about a fun, innovative project that brings the past back to life inspired by the artist, Keith Haring. The article focuses on how Melendez came up with the cassette tape project that students recently completed.
