In early October, Oak Lawn-Hometown School District 123 and OLHMS teamed up with the Tinogona Foundation to host a 6K Walk for Literacy. The event, open to staff, students, families, and community members, drew an impressive 152 participants and raised over $3,000 with proceeds going toward building a new library in Africa.
