She credits her teachers and experiences at D123 for fueling her love and passion for learning and education as well as today’s accomplishments. During Gomez’s time at Marquette University, she studied psychology in the honors college and presented her research at the American Association of Biological Anthropologists annual conference in 2022. She also had two pieces published in “Today’s Inspired Young Latina” and “Hispanic Stars Rising.” Gomez is currently attending dental school at the University of Iowa for a doctorate in dental surgery, realizing her dream of becoming Dr. Jessica Gomez DDS.
