Due to the National Weather Service forecast of dangerously cold wind chills with sub-zero temperatures for tomorrow morning, all District 123 school buildings will be closed tomorrow and District 123 will be exercising an Emergency eLearning Day on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.
The National Weather Service has forecasted temperatures will reach well below zero (-5), with a windchill of (-30.)The wind chill advisory will remain in effect until 12PM on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. With the bitterly cold forecasted conditions, we do not want to risk the safety of District 123 students, families, or staff traveling to any of our schools via bus or other means during the morning hours.
