Recently a dinner was held at Oak Lawn-Hometown Middle School in honor of staff members retiring from the District Office at the end of this school year. Paul Andersen, Director of Buildings and Grounds, Sheila Lettiere, Math Curriculum Facilitator, Cathy Baumann, Hardware Manager, and Deb Lathus, Administrative Assistant will leave District 123 after a combined 99 years of service.

“Each one of you has played a vital role in making District 123 what it is today. While you will be missed in the day to day at District Office, enjoy a much deserved endless summer vacation,” Superintendent, Dr. Paul Enderle said.

Friends, family, and co-workers past and present were invited to the event to commemorate old times and congratulate the group on their retirement. A few made speeches and even sang songs to wish their friends well as they enter the next chapter!
