In the Pre-K Adventure, District 123 Summer School students as young as 3 years old are getting a taste of what a school day would be like when they enter kindergarten. The program uses the Creative Curriculum Approach and incorporates a literacy-enriched instruction while providing opportunities for purposeful play.
“Investing in our young students has a direct impact on the students that they will become in the future. A child’s early education lays the foundation for all that is to come,” said Sarah McIntyre, Principal of Summer School.
Students participate in storytime, journaling, dance parties, and reading.
