What are you most excited about this school year?
I am mostly excited to connect and build relationships with my students. I want to connect with them which will lead to building on our 1st grade learning!

What is something you like to do for fun? How does it keep you in a positive mindset?
Something I like to do for fun is go biking or watch different shows on Netflix! It allows me to relax my mind and start fresh.

What would students be surprised to find out about you?
I have never traveled outside of the country! I also am a fan of Marvel and Star Wars!

What are your “trapped on a desert island” books, movies, or music?
I would love to read more, so I’ll stick with music and TV shows. I  love all types of music. I can’t pick one genre. One of my favorite artists is Morgan Wallen (country singer). Three of my favorite TV shows are: Supernatural, Yellowstone, and The Bachelor/Bachelorette.

Is there a quote or saying that resonates with you?
“Be the change you wish to see in the world!”

What is most important to you as an educator?
Building relationships with my students, so they can grow personally and academically.
