On Tuesday, April 8, 2025, Sward School proudly hosted District 123’s Monthly Board of Education Meeting. This evening included highlighting students and Sward’s commitment to student-centered learning.
As part of the presentation, Mrs. Nazadowski, Mrs. Coennen, Mrs. Trabadela, and Mrs. Katalinic invited students to share their experiences with the What I Need (WIN) ELA and Math Block. This innovative approach to personalized learning and small-group instruction is making a significant impact on student success.
To capture these moments, Media Club, led by Ms. Glasgow and Ms. Leittere, produced a breaking news segment showcasing student experiences.
Superintendent Dr. Enderle praised the Sward team, stating, “Their dedication to student-centered learning is inspiring. It’s clear that Sward School is setting a high standard for academic excellence across our district.”
