Soup-er Bowl

Student Council

Soup-er Bowl Collection

The Student Council sponsored “Soup for the Super Bowl,” a community-driven food drive benefiting the local food pantry in Oak Lawn. From January 28 through February 7, students were encouraged to donate canned or dry goods to support individuals and families in need.

In addition to giving back to the community, students had the opportunity to engage in some Super Bowl fun. With each donation, participants earned a special eagle feather and casted their vote for the team they believe will win the Super Bowl. Those who correctly predicted the winning team received a pencil as a token of appreciation.

Lots of cheers rang throughout the hallways Monday morning after the big game, as Sward celebrated the Eagles win. Eagles celebrating Eagles.

This initiative aims to foster school spirit while reinforcing the importance of generosity and community service. The Student Council thanks all students, staff, and families for their support in making a difference.
