On Friday, January 10th the Sward community gathered to celebrate their achievement of the ISBE Exemplary designation with a day full of joy and appreciation. Teachers were honored by Mrs. Amra with a special all-staff luncheon. Dr. Enderle, Dr. Gavin, Mrs. Amra and School Board President Mr. Nichols spoke to Sward staff recognizing their dedication and hard work in fostering a positive learning environment. Meanwhile, students participated in a PTA sponsored assembly called "Brain Break Assembly", where they celebrated their collective efforts and accomplishments as a school. The event underscored the strong bond between educators, students, and families, highlighting the shared commitment to excellence that earned the school this prestigious recognition ranking Sward School in the top 10% of all Illinois Schools. Congratulations to Mrs. Amra, Sward teachers, students and staff on a well-deserved honor.
