On Tuesday, September 10th, Sward welcomed parents, students and families to our annual Open House. The evening began with a short presentation by Mrs. Amra in the main gym. Mrs. Amra gave an overview of goals that have been set for our students to "Soar to New Heights", behavioral expectations and procedural information for parents. The gym was packed with eager students who were filled with excitement to bring their families to their new classrooms and introduce their teacher. Classroom teachers provided two presentations regarding grade level curriculum information and other important details. Non-classroom teachers were available to meet with families in the gym along with the Sward PTA, Oak Lawn Library, Scout Troops and the Parent Volunteer program. We love welcoming our families into the building to see all the wonderful things happening inside our walls!
