Mrs. Herbold and Crew
A tradition at Sward is for Student Council to organize a summer break countdown calendar. The students look forward to its release at the end of April This countdown begins 26 days before the end of the year, and each day represents a letter of the alphabet with a designated theme. One of the most important days this year was May 16th, H- Day.
H-Day was Mrs. Herbold Day and she was showered with sunshine and vacation vibes as she begins her next chapter into retirement.

Sward's Media Club said it best:
"Sward Eagles, we have some
bittersweet news to share. Mrs. Herbold,
one of our amazing office secretaries is
retiring at the end of the school year. Mrs.
Herbold has been our school secretary for
16 years. She has played such an
important role in making each and every
one of us feel welcome and safe at Sward
school. Mrs. Herbold is also the
mastermind behind making sure our
school year runs smoothly. While we will
miss her so much, we are excited that she
will be able to relax, vacation and spend
more time with her family. We love you
Mrs. Herbold!"
