Returning for the second year at Sward was the highly anticipated Tournament of Books for March Madness and boy does Mrs. Keblusek, Sward's Librarian, know how to pump up the excitement! Why should March Madness be limited to the basketball court when there were so many new books in Sward's library? Students were introduced to the Sweet 16 books that would be competing in the tournament earlier this month. Each week students were allowed to vote for their favorite book in each bracket. Then each week, Mrs. Keblusek would announce which books were advancing to the next round. Students were given access to the books online so they could listen to the books before voting each week. This week we're down to the championship round and two books remain, That's Not My Name by Anoosha Syed and Gibberish by Young Vo. Voting is open until Friday morning and then the winner of the Tournament of Books will be announced before Spring Break! We can't wait to see which book will be crowned champion!
