Over 200 members of our school community participated in this year’s World Vision 6k for Water at Oak Lawn Hometown Middle School raising more than $5600. The 6k raises funds and awareness for the World Vision organization which works to bring clean water to developing countries.
This year more than 40 volunteers made the event possible by helping set up for the race and being there for runners as they crossed the finish line.
