Vaccination Opportunities

COVID-19 Vaccine

The COVID-19 Vaccine is now available for all children ages 12 and older. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recently approved the use of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for all children age 12 and older. Listed below are the most recent vaccination options (as of 5/14) available for the Oak Lawn & Hometown Communities.

Oak Lawn & Hometown (McGugan)

Through the continued District 123 partnership with Advocate Aurora Health (AAH) the district has hosted a very successful community vaccination site at the site of McGugan Junior High School since February. Due to an abundance of Pfizer vaccines and available appointment times, AAH has relaxed their appointment procedures and are now allowing both online and telephone (866-443-2584) scheduling options for any community members ages 12+.

The McGugan site is directly within the District 123 boundary, and is a convenient option for District 123 families. Anyone interested in scheduling a vaccination appointment at the AAH McGugan site (5220 W. 105th Street) can do so online or by phone. If scheduling by phone, which is recommended, call 866-443-2584.
