Honoring Our Veterans

On Veterans Day, Sward Elementary School hosted an assembly honoring the brave men and women who have served in the armed forces. Mrs. Glikis and the Sward chorus provided lovely music and successfully engaged the audience to sing along. The guests of honor brought such joy to our Sward students and staff.  Mrs. Kramer, Sward’s Principal, “It was wonderful to be able to have an in person assembly to honor the Veterans of the Sward community. Our Wall of Honor provides us with a beautiful means of honoring those unable to join us. Overall, it was a very special day as we embraced the opportunity to honor and thank these individuals for their service to our country.”
