What are you most excited about this school year?
I am excited to get to know my 8th Graders as I am used to teaching older students. 

What is something you like to do for fun? How does it keep you in a positive mindset? I love spending time with my kids and doing all the crazy stuff that keeps them happy. This makes me smile and keeps me motivated. 

What would students be surprised to find out about you?  I participated in an archaeological dig in Southern Illinois, researching Indigenous People during the Clovis age. 

What are your “trapped on a desert island” books, movies, or music? Watching “Predator” on repeat. That is all :)

What is most important to you as an educator?
The most important thing to me as an educator is showing my students that I am human too and I can relate to their struggles!
