Last week, OLHMS students got fired up for the IAR tests with exciting grade-level pep rallies filled with school spirit and fun! Each rally kicked off with encouraging words from Dr. McNichols, who reminded students of their hard work and potential.
Eighth grader Zion B. served as the ultimate “hype man,” bringing the energy and enthusiasm for all grade levels. With his spirit leading the way, students competed in a lively basketball shoot-out and a giant Connect 4 contest that had everyone cheering.
The highlight of the rally? A tug-of-war showdown between staff and students that sent the crowd into a frenzy! Laughter, cheering, and school pride filled the gym as each side gave it their all.
To close out the event, Mrs. Grabarek and Mrs. Laureto shared final words of encouragement, wishing all students the best of luck on their IAR tests. With this kind of spirit and support, OLHMS is more than ready to shine!
