The OLHMS Esports team made history by hosting and competing in the first-ever Southwest Interscholastic Conference (SWIC) Esports Tournament! The electrifying event brought together seven schools and nearly 80 competitors for an action-packed evening of gaming.
For three hours, players showcased their skills across five popular titles—Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros., NBA 2K, Madden, and EAFC—on 14 screens, creating an immersive esports experience for all involved.
OLHMS gamers proved their prowess, taking home championship titles in two games. Conrad M. dominated the competition in Super Smash Bros., securing first place, while David M. showcased his strategic mastery to claim victory in Madden.
