Our 8th grade OLHMS girls volleyball team was celebrated as they stepped onto the OLHMS court for the final time on Thursday, February 19th, in a matchup against Conrady Middle School. The Mustangs played with heart and determination, fighting hard in their last home game. Despite their strong effort, they fell just short in two close sets. Breanna C. led all players in serving points, digs, and key passes, while Gabby C. had several powerful attacks throughout the match.
The night was filled with special moments and decorations, making it a memorable event. The team had professional posters, a table full of treats, and countless balloons to celebrate the occasion. Each player was introduced and gave a presentation rose to their loved ones as a sign of appreciation. With the playoffs coming up soon, we wish our 8th grade girls the best of luck in their final regular-season games and the postseason!
