The 8th-grade OLHMS Lady Mustangs basketball team was celebrated with great enthusiasm as they took the court on Tuesday, November 19th, for their game against Evergreen. Under the leadership of Coach Danos, the Lady Mustangs have achieved an impressive record of 9-1, securing a 2nd place position in the conference standings. In Tuesday’s game, Reese dominated as the leading scorer, Leah showcased exceptional rebounding skills and finished as the second top scorer, while Maddie executed crucial box outs. Despite the two point loss to Evergreen, our ladies played together and fought the entire game.
The 6/7 grade team showed their support with vibrant, hand-crafted posters, while the celebration included an array of delicious desserts, cheerful balloons, and roses that the players presented to their loved ones. With just one regular season game remaining against Liberty on Thursday, November 21st, the Lady Mustangs are gearing up for the SWIC playoffs, which kick off after Thanksgiving Break.
