Last week at OLHMS, our students were on a kindness adventure! In the library, vibrant kindness posters have come to life with every student's unique touch as they colored and created messages of compassion. Every corner of the library has been filled with warm, inspiring stories as students read books that share the power of being kind. Throughout the school, we’ve encouraged each other with random acts of kindness. Some students received surprise book giveaways with matching books, perfect for friends to read together and share the joy of a good story. These books remind us that reading together is just one way to grow friendships and spread kindness.
World Kindness Day was November 13th where we’re also celebrating how our unique differences make our world a better place. By appreciating each other's diverse talents, interests, and backgrounds, we’re building a stronger, more compassionate community. Together, we’re creating a world where kindness truly matters.
