On October 16th, OLHMS celebrated Unity Day, an event dedicated to fostering kindness, inclusion, and standing together against bullying. Students across the school pledged to stay united and support each other in creating a positive and welcoming environment for all.The day was filled with energy and teamwork as both staff and students learned and performed a special Unity Dance, symbolizing the power of togetherness. Students also engaged in interactive "What Would You Do?" activities, where they explored real-life scenarios and discussed ways to stand up against bullying.
This year’s theme, "U Belong," took center stage as students decorated horseshoes with their names, colors, and designs that represented their unique personalities. These beautifully crafted horseshoes were displayed in the building, showcasing the school’s unity and commitment to creating a safe and inclusive space for everyone. At OLHMS, we are stronger when we stand together!
