Last Thursday and Friday, District 123 hosted its Fall Family Conferences! At OLHMS, the conferences ran from 5-8pm on Thursday and 11:30am-6:30pm on Friday. These sessions gave parents a chance to meet their child’s Advisory and encore teachers to discuss their progress. Our wonderful PTSA provided a delicious spread of Potbelly sandwiches, and hosted a coffee and treat bar yesterday to thank teachers for all they do. Meanwhile, 8th grade Student Ambassadors were stationed throughout the school to welcome families, guide them to classrooms, and share key details about upcoming events, such as the High School Fair on October 24th and the Veterans Day Assembly on November 3rd. We’re also excited to continue supporting the Make-A-Wish Foundation by starting to collect donations for our spring fundraiser. The Fall Family Conferences were a resounding success, and we look forward to seeing all our Mustang families again for the Spring Conferences!
