On Friday, October 11th, the D123 Retirement Luncheon took place in the beautiful OLHMS Media Center. Each year, this special event is generously sponsored by our incredible Ed Foundation to honor the former teachers and administrators who have devoted countless years to education and our school district. This year, we were thrilled to recognize around 30 former D123 staff members.
The OLHMS Media Center was beautifully transformed for the occasion. As retirees entered, they were warmly greeted by 8th grade Ambassadors and escorted inside. The space featured a “Sweet Memories” sign, a "Collect Sweet Memories" wall adorned with colorful balloons as a picture-perfect backdrop, tables decorated with stunning red flowers, and attentive 8th grade Ambassadors serving and assisting the honored guests.
We are deeply grateful to the Ed Foundation members for making this lovely event possible, to our dedicated 8th grade Ambassadors, and most importantly, to our former D123 staff members whose work touched the hearts and minds of countless students throughout the years.
