Breast Cancer Awareness Month began on October 1st, and at OLHMS, staff and students have committed to wearing pink every Wednesday in the month of October! Last week, our hallways were a sea of pink in every shade, with posters and ribbons proudly displayed to show our support. The staff also hosted a "Pink Treat Day," offering a selection of delicious sweets and beverages.
In continued support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Mrs. Hines, an Encore teacher, started a fundraiser, with all proceeds benefiting A Silver Lining Foundation. This wonderful organization is focused on providing free, equal access to health screenings for all women.
