In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month and Latin Heritage Month, the OLHMS library has introduced over 50 QR codes throughout its space, offering students a unique way to explore and learn about the rich cultures and histories of Hispanic and Latino communities.
Library leaders have put together four engaging displays, including features on prominent Hispanic and Latino figures, a vibrant book display, and an informative hallway exhibit. One of the highlights of this month’s celebration has been playing Lotería, a traditional Mexican game, which has quickly become the most popular activity among students.
Be sure to visit the OLHMS library and scan the QR codes to dive deeper into the stories and contributions of Hispanic and Latino cultures!
