The OLHMS boys and girls softball teams have kicked off their seasons with great success, showing strong potential on the field. Under the leadership of Mr. Ogean, who coaches the boys team, and Mrs. Ogean, who coaches the girls team, the athletes have been working hard every day, balancing rigorous practice schedules with their academic responsibilities.
Lady Mustang Softball is starting their season out strong with 3 back to back victories! Coach Kathy Ogean shared, “Four 6th graders, one 7th grader and nine 8th graders make for a powerful roster of girls ready to play. They are excited to represent OLHMS and are really trying their best for one another. They are a SWIC team to be reckoned with for sure.”
Mustang Softball has three returning players and eight new players making up the team. Coach Keith Ogean shared, “We took a couple of tough losses early in the season but the backside of our schedule looks much more favorable. I expect a strong run for the last 5 regular season games heading into the tournament!”
Both teams are demonstrating dedication, teamwork, and a strong work ethic as they prepare for upcoming games. With their hard work and commitment, the Mustangs are poised for a promising season ahead!
