Our 8th grade OLHMS boys basketball players were honored as they walked onto the court on Wednesday, February 21st against Conrady Middle School for the last time. After their win over Conrady, our Mustangs advanced to a record of 14-2! During our 8th grade night game, Will and Angel led all players in points, Shay led the Mustangs with several assists and key buckets, and Kamari had countless offensive and defensive rebounds throughout the game. Our 8th grade Mustangs not only had professional posters made and lots of yummy snacks and desserts, but they gave their loved ones presentation carnations as they were announced one-by-one. With our SWIC Conference tournament already off the ground, our 8th grade boys are the second seed in the SWIC Conference. Good luck to our OLHMS Mustangs in the playoffs!
