Last week, our OLHMS Boys Basketball Program went on the road to play Palos South and brought home two wins! Our 6/7th grade team played with heart and fight, and our 8th grade team played together and stayed composed during every possession.
During the Palos game, our 6/7th grade team had a blow-out 60-21 point win. The Mustangs dominated from the start of the game. JR led all scorers with 15 points in his first middle school basketball game as a 6th grader. During the 8th grade game against Palos, our Mustangs were unstoppable. Shay led all players with 11 points, Kamari dominated the blocks with countless rebounds, and Kamari led all players in steals. When Will was asked how the game went against Palos South last Thursday, he said “we played together, and we had great team chemistry from the start of the game. Everyone passed the ball really well, and we had a lot of fun!” Our 8th grade Mustangs beat Palos with a final score of 38–18.
