Our 8th grade OLHMS girls basketball players were honored as they walked onto the court on Thursday, November 16th against Conrady. Coach Danos and her Lady Mustangs advanced to a record of 9-1, which places them 2nd in the conference. In Thursday’s game, Sofia F. led all players in points, Nadine L. led the Lady Mustangs with countless rebounds and was the second leading scorer, and Lucy W. had several key box outs, which helped the Mustangs in their 40-19 win over Conrady. Our 8th grade Lady Mustangs had hand-made posters created by the 6/7 grade team, endless desserts, and roses they gave their loved ones as they were announced one-by-one. With one last regular season game against Evergreen on Tuesday, November 28th, the SWIC playoffs are quickly approaching. The 8th grade Mustangs will play this Saturday, December 3rd at Grissom.
