The Buddies program was back in full swing during the Halloween festivities on Tuesday, October 31st! CASE students worked together with their 8th grade Buddies to carve, paint, and decorate pumpkins! Media Specialist, Mrs. Heather McCarthy, transformed the Makerspace area into a Halloween extravaganza with her pumpkin carving, painting, and decorating stations. Each CASE student was paired with 8th grade Buddies and worked together to create the spookiest pumpkin! Some students enjoyed carving and scooping all the guts out of the pumpkins while others wanted to draw, paint, and color their pumpkins. Each student was proud of their work, and when asked if they had fun with their Buddies, all students shouted with a resounding “Yes!”
