In an awesome show of kindness and teamwork, the OLHMS National Junior Honor Society scholars organized a food drive that’s making a big difference in their community. These scholars decided to collect non-perishable food to help out local families in need through Pilgrim Faith Church.
With tons of energy and creativity, they spread the word through posters, classroom visits, and announcements over the speaker each morning. And guess what? It’s working like magic! So far, these scholars have gathered more than 200 items since starting their collection on October 18th.
Teachers and Administration are super proud of these Mustangs for their dedication and for bringing the community together. This heartwarming effort not only fills up the local food pantry but also brings smiles to many faces. It goes to show that even our youngest community members can make a huge impact by showing a little love to those who need it the most! NJHS students will continue collecting food items through November 15th.
