Last Thursday, OLHMS held its 5th annual High School Fair! Mrs. Vanessa Follmar and the Counseling Department first started this initiative five years ago, and it has been a success every year. The goal of the High School Fair is to not only excite our families and students about their future school, but to help them forge a new path to endless possibilities. Students and families had the opportunity to meet several high school representatives in person at OLHMS, where they were able to ask specific questions, learn more about each school, the programs they have to offer, and the phenomenal extra curricular options. Families left the high school fair having more knowledge and comfort regarding their child's future. Gary, an 8th grade student, said “I absolutely loved the high school fair! It was a great opportunity to learn more about several schools and to see what options I have. Everyone was so nice, and I’m so excited for high school!”
