Last Thursday, we welcomed all of our families as they flooded our OLHMS hallways for Open House! Open House is an opportunity for students and families to meet their teachers, for students to show their families their classroom, and for families to learn more about their child’s learning.
From 6:30-8:00pm, our families filled several classrooms and were eager to learn more about their child’s education. Teachers presented information containing important dates, upcoming events, service opportunities, ways to get involved, and the curriculum. When a mom of an 8th grade student was asked what she loved most about Open House, she said “I love having the opportunity to meet all my daughter’s teachers. It was really nice to learn about how my daughter and I can get more involved in helping the school and our community.” Thank you to all of our families for coming to Open House and for supporting our students!
