Last Saturday, August 26th, D123 families came together to kick off our new school year! At our “Back to School Extravaganza,” nearly 400 families enjoyed the sun, ate delicious food and snacks, and created beautiful memories together.
From the start of our event, students and parents filled our OLHMS space with excitement. Everyone was left mesmerized and crying of laughter when watching the magic show, and they could not stop bobbing to the beat of Gincy Hartin’s music. The day was also filled with an amazing Oak Lawn Police K-9 show, a competitive inflatable obstacle course, painting a school bus, and going head to head in several carnival games. This memorable day would not be possible without our supportive D123 families and volunteers- thank you for all your time and commitment for our students, school, and community. We are looking forward to a fantastic school year!
