Last Thursday, January 12th, Van Gogh School Photography came to OLHMS for 8th grade picture day! Excitement ran through the hallways as students arrived at school, running to their friends to see what glamorous outfit they wore. In the auxiliary gym, volunteer parents and Van Gogh School Photographers were set up and ready to capture our 8th grade students’ picture.
As students were called by advisory to the auxiliary gym to get their picture taken, the emotions of some students were running from excitement to nervousness. When Aadan was asked how he was feeling about picture day, he said “I’m so excited for today! But also, a little nervous because we are that much closer to graduating. I’m looking forward to high school, but I’m really going to miss OLHMS.”
Although we are halfway through the school year, our students have many memories left to make!
