Our 8th grade OLHMS girls basketball players were honored as they walked onto the court on Thursday, November 17th against Simmons. Coach Danos and her Lady Mustangs advanced to a record of 6-3, which places them 4th in the conference. In Thursday’s game, Lexie F. led all players in points, Olivia P. led the Lady Mustangs with countless rebounds and was the second leading scorer, and Clark Z. had several key rebounds, which helped the Mustangs in their 43-13 win over Simmons. Our 8th grade Lady Mustangs had hand-made posters created by the 6/7 grade team, customized cookies, endless desserts, and roses they gave their loved ones as they were announced one-by-one. With one last regular season game against Conrady Jr. High today, the SWIC playoffs are quickly approaching this weekend. Our 8th grade Mustangs will play this Saturday, December 3rd at Liberty- good luck to our Lady Mustangs!
