With girls basketball and boys volleyball seasons starting this week, our athletes and coaches couldn’t be happier. For our OLHMS Girls Basketball program, Coach Carmody and Coach Danos are both returning and are ready for their first game against Tinley this Thursday, October 20th! Even though their first game is on the road, our Lady Mustangs are determined to start off their year strong with a win. When Riley K. was asked what she is looking forward to the most this season, she stated “I’m looking forward to playing with my teammates, seeing how we grow as a team throughout our season, and seeing how far we get into the playoffs.” When Lexie F. was asked the same question, she stated that she was looking forward to “having fun with [her] teammates and winning a lot of games.”
For our OLHMS Boys Volleyball program, Coach Fisher and Coach Lopez are both returning and ready for their first home game this Thursday against Tinley. When Alex F. was asked what he was looking forward to this volleyball season, he stated “Since this is my first year on the volleyball team, I’m really excited to be part of this program and play with a lot of my friends.”
