OLHMS advisories are warming up to talking about mental health! The Erika’s Lighthouse Teen Empowerment Club (ELTEC) members, sponsored by OLHMS Counselors Mrs. Follmar and Ms. Madej, challenged each advisory to create a poster showing their interpretation of what it means to “fill your cup”! Some of the ELTEC members shared that when you are emotionally, mentally, and physically happy, your cup is considered full. One advisory from each grade level was chosen as the winner of the poster contest by ELTEC members and OLHMS Administrators. Our winning advisories were Ms. Orloff (6th grade), Ms. Doran (7th grade), and Mrs. Loch (8th grade)! These advisories were treated to a hot cocoa party on Valentine’s Day. Congratulations to these scholars for filling our cups with their beautiful posters!
