What are you most excited about this school year? I am looking forward to my first year teaching and having my own classroom, at Kolmar. The first grade class that I have right now, has shown me the reason that I pursued teaching. They are full of energy and love! 

What is something you like to do for fun? How does it keep you in a positive mindset? Exercise, spending time with friends & family,  and traveling are all ways in which I stay positive. ! I enjoy to start my mornings with  pilates classes and traveling on the weekends to Long Beach, IN. 

What would students be surprised to find out about you? My students would be surprised that it is my first year teaching and that I still make mistakes at 22 years old. :)

What are your “trapped on a desert island” books, movies, or music? Any book by Colleen Hoover & I love all music.

What is most important to you as an educator? As an educator, I feel as though I am here to help students grow within education, but to also know that students  are safe, cared for, and welcomed within our classroom family.
