Our first graders got to put all their astronomy knowledge to work when they visited Adler Planetarium for their Spring field trip. This field trip aligned perfectly with their spinning Earth science unit. Students loved exploring and learning new things, especially about the planets! Another big hit of the field trip were the telescopes. Students loved all the hands-on activities available to work with. What a fun way to make meaningful connections to the students’ learning! Thank you to our 1st grade team for planning such a fun day and to all of our chaperones who donated their time!
