As part of Kolmar’s PBIS end of trimester celebration, classes got to work together to make scarecrows! Classes were paired up with a buddy classroom and each group made 2 scarecrows, so that every classroom would have its own scarecrow! Students had a blast creating their scarecrows, props for the scarecrows, and backgrounds for the scarecrows. Each student was assigned a job like scarecrow stuffer, face decorator, background decorator, prop decorator, etc. It was a great way to build teamwork and collaboration. Students were also able to build peer relationships with students in other classes as well as their own! We would like to extend a huge thank you to Palermo’s on 95th for donating the cardboard for our scarecrows faces!
