In September the 1st graders at Kolmar took their 1st field trip of the year. They went to Konow’s farm and had a wonderful day! This field trip aligned with their Science and CKLA units on animals, plants, and nature. The main event of the day was definitely the hayride, as multiple students stated it was their favorite part! Some other highlights of the field trip were the corn maze, playing in the corn, seeing and holding all the pumpkins, and playing on the haystacks! The weather was beautiful and the teachers said it was a perfect day! We are so thankful to our 1st grade team for planning such a memorable day for our coyotes. We are also thankful for all of the chaperones who took the time to join them!
