Kolmar 1st graders wrapped up their Spinning Earth Science unit in the best way possible- a field trip! They took a trip to Adler Planetarium and got to step up close to the stars! One really special thing about this field trip was they were able to see the show the planetarium offers. Students, teachers and chaperones all really enjoyed the show! Some other highlights were looking through the giant telescope, playing in the play area, and eating lunch in a cool area that had information about all the planets. Students even got to do a space walk and see how it would feel to be in space, how awesome! Thank you to our first grade teachers for planning such a special event and thank you to all our chaperones who volunteered their time!
