Maddie is a former Kolmar student and a current student at Richards High School. Maddie has been an active member of Girl Scout Troop 60102 since she was in 1st grade. Currently Maddie is working on her Gold Award project, which is the highest award in Girl Scouts. Having been a patient at Lurie’s Children’s Hospital, Maddie decided that she would like to give back to this amazing organization by donating toys to the Children’s hospital, and Kolmar was thrilled to help. There has been a toy chest positioned outside of the main office at Kolmar, and our PTA asked for families attending our recent bingo night to bring donations with them. We have had a great number of donations and are still accepting them through February 16th. Maddie is looking for toys $10 or less, or gift cards for $5. All donations can be sent with a student to school or dropped at the front office!
